Well, I grew up with a mom who is a compulsive liar. I was very hard as I got older because everything I knew to be true was a lie. I have had to seperate myself from her and she is not allowed to see my DD because I felt she was in danger when she was with her and my mom was making my life a living you know what..... It's sad but you can never confront someone like that because they never admit that the bad things happened. The hardest thing for me is that she spreads all of these bad stories about me and is so convincing that people believe her .... I've had to leave my church and family because they all blame me. But you've gotta do what you've gotta do to protect your family. Good thing is my DH and his family see her for what she really is and support my decision. When it's an adult you can only help them if they are willing.
