Is CL worth the extra $$$$

The Concierge Lounge offers food/beverages throughout the day. The CL staff can help with ADR's. Items bought in the parks can be delivered to your room. Your room has a few more amenities (robes, turndown service, additional toiletries.) Concierge usually costs about $150 more per night, so if you are looking to "get your money's worth", you probably won't. If you are looking for a little additional pampering, then it's a nice choice.

I think I'd rather spend the $$ in the parks. $150 extra per night can go along way. Thanks. Now, if they offered to rub my feet after a day in the parks.....:thumbsup2

For us, it really is worth it. There is a limited breakfast in the morning, coffee, soft drinks and water available all day, snacks in the afternoon (my kids love the PBJ uncrustables at the Poly), appetizers in the evening, desserts, along with wine, beer and cordials. The lounge also served as a place where DH and the boys could relax in the afternoon while the little girls napped and where we could relax with a glass of wine in the evening. Having breakfast available in itself made it worth it for us! DH and my middle boy are early risers, they would get up, go eat while I got everybody else up and ready, then I could send each of the kids to the lounge to eat while I got ready, it was a convienence we felt was well worth it.
We did take advantage of the pre-planning services, but what was especially helpful was that there was always someone there to help with last minute reservations.

I would not pay $150 a day extra for CL. Having a regular room is perfect for me and my DD. I would rather do a resort upgrade for that money :thumbsup2
