We were hoping to try Citricos this August and when I called to make an reservation, the CM said that it will be closing in July. I thought at first she meant that it would be closed the night we wanted to go, but she said that she was showing that it would be closed permanently from July on. Has anyone else heard this? Thanks:confused3

Hi,

Unless this is something brand new, the CM you spoke with might be wrong.

I would call back and speak with another CM and see what answer you get...

I thought it seemed odd, but thought maybe I had missed reading something about it.I'm going to call back .

Hi,

We tried to book for late Aug. last week, and was told it was closed? I assumed the CM meant for the night, but now reading this I'm wondering if they meant for good

We didn't try for another night as most of the rest of our ADR's are made, and wanted to think about where we could do it.

I do hope it isn't closed for good as it was one of my favourite restaurants :sad2:

Citricos is typically closed Mondays and Tuesdays, was that one of the days you were trying to make reservations? I think it is open seven days of week through June though, so maybe the CM was confused and saw closed, and assumed it meant for good? Just a thought.

Oh, my! I hope it's not closing!!

I tried to schedule an ADR for 8/5 but the CM said they were closed. That is a Tuesday, and they are typically closed Mon & Tue. I DO have an ADR for 8/7, which is Thursday.

I did read they are open 7 days a week through July 5, then back to being closed Mon & Tue.

Well, I called back this morning and asked for the same thing, Wednesday, Aug 27 and had no problem booking it. The CM last night must have been looking at the Monday or Tuesday. Whew!:cool1:

Thanks for the update. This definitely would have been breaking news!!!!

This is a good lesson for everyone...CMs sometimes make mistakes. Just because you hear something from a CM doesn't mean it's 100% certifiably true.
