Hi, Question for all the current ChaCha guides-Are they hiring Generalists right now or just Expeditors? I submitted my application today and logged on to the link they sent me. The only option listed is for Expeditor. I am wondering if I submitted my application under the wrong category or if they are only hiring Expeditors currently?

Also, which role do you recommend right now to make the most money? Any feedback? I'm so new to this. Thanks!!!!!

ChaCha is currently only hiring expeditors. If you have any questions about the position feel free to PM. I have been working for ChaCha for 2 years and have been an expeditor for a year and a half.

ChaCha is hiring only expeditors. I work as a Generalist and have been working for ChaCha for over 2 years. I don't make much, but every little bit helps!

I am an expeditor and much prefer it over generalist. They've streamlined it so much and made it so simple that it really is very simple to do without much though. Which is great for me while my kiddos are running around. I can still pay attention to them while I'm working. However the pay has gone down to $0.02 but its money I didn't have before for little effort IMO.

I started as a Generalist about 3 years ago but quickly switched to being an Expeditor. You may make more per question being a Generalist but some of the questions require quite a bit of research and the questions aren't as steady as they are being an Expeditor.

Expeditors hired prior to Nov/Dec of last year get paid $.02 per question (or they can choose to work on the points system). All Expeditors hired after Nov/Dec work on a points system. I hear it's about the same. I make generally about $2 an hour doing it (approx. 100 questions an hour) but I make sure my answers and quality percentage is always good. Some people are much faster and can make $3 per hour. I don't do it as often as I used to as once the weather gets nice I don't spend much time at home.

They do offer contests frequently to earn more money but I definitely don't come close to ever having enough questions answered to be able to get the bonuses. It is an easy, flexible way to make a little extra every month.

Keep in mind ChaCha does not take taxes out of your earnings so you are responsible for that and if you make over $600 they will send you a 1099 at the end of the year.
