Is Caribbean Beach Resort going to be become DVC?

Multiple insiders have said that value, moderate and deluxe categories are going away altogether and it will just be "Epcot Area", "Magic Kingdom Area" etc. They have said this new DVC resort will be self contained with its own theme- not "part of" CBR. One described the theme as "regal".

Of course these are just anonymous posters, but they have good track records of posting accurate information in the past.

I think travel agents and guests will still want a definition of hotels by room price. Why look at GF if you can only afford ASM?

It makes no sense. How are they going to stop CBR hotel guests from walking over to use their so-called deluxe DVC amenities? Disney tram, monorail, ferry, and bus do not require any kind of ID or ticket. So the gondola will like use the same system... so how can they divide those guests into two classes of customers? So they can't.

I wonder how those Grand Floridian owners feel now that their premium purchase is used at par as moderate resort guests. It's like they paid for First Class fare but other Economy fare customers get to use the same amenity. Can they ask for a refund now?

I expect that the laundry and pool at the Riviera will be locked only members using the Magic band can get it. They could also change the machines to have a MB swipe to use them as well. At Wilderness Lodge the cash rooms use a credit card to use the laundry. So DVC could do something similar. Members get the laundry free and anyone else pays for it.

As to the rest of the resort, it will be open just like all DVC resorts are, afterall DVC wants moderate people to upgrade and buy DVC. Also the restaurant will be a Disney restaurant and will not be owned by DVC, just like TOTWL. But there is no way a restaurant would be profitable if only DVC members use it. A restaurant would need the cash guests too, including those coming from any resort at WDW or a local. They could restrict the elevator use for the restaurant if they want too like they do for California Grill or TOTWL. So that way only guests dining or guests staying at the Riviera resort can use the roof top viewing of fireworks at Epcot and DHS.

Surely no one feels that moderate people are lower class people? I never met anyone at GF that acted like that. And since the Riviera is a deluxe DVC resort, it's is a mute point, they are not moderate guests when staying at the Riviera.
