You might want to try a full spectrum CBD. I have found that it has helped a great deal with my anxiety.
I've recently been looking into CBD products. Most makers give very clear warnings that "full spectrum" CBD contains enough THC to show up on drug tests. The ones called "isolates" are CBD only and certified to be free of THC. If that sort of thing matters to the user. You might want to try a full spectrum CBD. I have found that it has helped a great deal with my anxiety.
Lots of places do fingerprinting for background checks. My teen just had to do this and a drug screen to work at the YMCA summer camp.
You’re absolutely correct that every workplace will have different requirements so it’s best not to assume.
Not if she hasn’t been prescribed it by her doctor. And even then they may not care if the hospital has a zero tolerance policy. We had a contractor getting credentialed at a hospital last summer. His doctor had recommended that he use CBD for his anxiety while he was out of work due to Covid. He wound up testing positive for trace amounts of marijuana and was not able to work at this particular hospital.
I work at a hospital in Pennsylvania and even if I had a medical excuse from my doctor to use CBD products, I wouldn't be allowed to use any of these products. When we were hired, we had to take a drug test and we have random drug tests so you never know when you might get pulled for one. If you test positive (and I think that it stays in your system for several weeks), it is immediate firing...no exceptions. So even though it might be allowed in your state, doesn't mean that your employer (in this case the hospital) will give you a free pass.
A lot of hospitals do not allow it. Just an fyi THC can last in the body a long time, sometimes weeks since the last dose.
Yes, there are many CBD products that have varying small amounts of THC in them. Marijuana is not legal in our state so he assumed that the products he was purchasing were CBD only, but apparently there must be a small percentage that is allowed to be sold. Then he was using something like Delta-8 and not straight up CBD. CBD will not trigger any kind of a THC test unless it has THC in it. Delta-8 etc can be confusing for many because you can buy it anywhere from any smoke shop without any medical card and it is mostly CBD so people think they are good but it does have THC in it.
Must be below 0.3% THC (In PA).Yes, there are many CBD products that have varying small amounts of THC in them. Marijuana is not legal in our state so he assumed that the products he was purchasing were CBD only, but apparently there must be a small percentage that is allowed to be sold.
At the hospital that I work at, marijuana is not acceptable under any circumstances...whether you have a medical need or not. We have to follow the hospital policy above all others. Doesn't matter if it is legal in Pennsylvania or not....we cannot use it period or we will face immediate termination when and if we get pulled for a drug test (and it is random so you never know when this might be). This applies to all employees not just those dealing with patients.
Not true unless you are a chronic user .A lot of hospitals do not allow it. Just an fyi THC can last in the body a long time, sometimes weeks since the last dose.
Welcome to the dis, fil.The state of California allows the use of cannabis. Of course, there's always a limit to the amount you take daily or weekly.
