Can I drive my car from my cabin to the MK parking lot and then take the monorail or is the only way into the MK by water?
There is no bus to MK from FW, so that leaves the boat. The other choices - internal bus @ FW, then bus to MK

That's very logical and it begs the question, why does the WL have a bus, as it's closer, and FW does not. The answer is that the WL is willing to pay for the bus service and FW is not. Of course, you know who pays for it.I assumed - there you go - that because WL had a bus, that Ft. Wilderness would too.)
Guests staying at a MK resort don't have to do this in order to park at TTC. There is a shorter route.once you get on Floridian Way or World Drive you need to turn around at the sign which says return to the Magic Kingdom, so you can park at the TTC.
Three bus waits plus three bus rides to get to MK, shoot me. I wonder how many people do this? I realize it can be done this way, but does Disney suggest it with a straight face? The alternate route to MK is internal bus to the Settlement, bus to WL, and bus to MK.
Is that shorter than CR Resort Fan 4 Life's method? The recommended driving route is left out of the campground to Bonnet Creek, right on Bonnet Creek past PO to Epcot Center Dr., and Epcot Ctr. Dr. to World Dr. to the Auto Plaza.
- The alternate route to MK (as shown on the FW map) is internal bus to the Settlement, bus to WL, and bus to MK. Currently, the Yellow Settlement bus continues on to WL (used to be Orange until last week.)

Don't know, but it might be faster with the traffic on 7 Seas. And it avoids having to merge across 3 lanes of traffic in front of the Car Care Center (although that's not usually a problem in the a.m.)Is that shorter than CR Resort Fan 4 Life's method?
Nobody knows why WDW bus routes are they way they are. We can only guess.Good to know. Any idea why the change was made, was the Orange route getting to0 long with the added cabin loop stops?
Which is the faster way to get there when staying in a Magic Kingdom Resort?Guests staying at a MK resort don't have to do this in order to park at TTC. There is a shorter route.
Just wanted to comment that the boat from FW to MK was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing parts of our vacation.

We like to rent golf cart(s) to get to the Settlement to pick up the launch or to the Outpost to get a bus to the TTC then monorail or ferry to MK. I took my bike on a solo trip to do the above instead of renting a golf cart.
