Is BWV easier for Easter than OKW?

I was quite surprised this morning. My dear friend who also owns OKW, had a mix up in her reservations for March 20-27. Her family guests decided to change by one night, so she needed to cancel one night of her ressie less than 30 days out. That left her with 73 points in holding. She has no way of using them, so we were trying to figure out what she should do. I learned that they were staying in a hotel for Saturday night (26th) because of the change of plans. They have 5 of them, so I suggested she call and see if they would let her do a 1 bedroom at OKW for that one night, because it would be 73 points. That way she wouldn't just see them wasted. When she called this morning, they did NOT have a 1 bedroom available at OKW for that night, but they DID have a BWV 1 bedroom available! I was shocked! She did reserve the BWV 1 bedroom by adding 2 more points to the ressie, but I think she is waitlisted for OKW.

I think it is just "luck" when you are this close to the arrival date -especially for a popular time such as Easter. Glad your friend was able to use the holding account points. Sounds like they got a standard view room - someone must have just cancelled that night!

That's what I figured too. I think she might have just been lucky this morning!

I got on a waitlist mid January for a studio the week after Easter(3 nights) at OKW BWV or BCV. BW standard view came through and the others did not.
