I agree, we experienced no rudeness while in Paris. If you attempt a little French, a bonjour and merci at minimum, you will find that the people are more than willing to attempt English and communicate with you. The expectations in a French restaurant are totally different than what we are used to in the US. The wait staff take your order and do not return over and over to see if you need anything, it's considered impolite and intrusive in the French culture. If you need something, you summon them to the table. Dining is a long process in France, they take their time and do not rush through meals. Americans see this as slow and unattentive service. Paris is a beautiful city. We also visited
Disneyland Paris and the CMs are very friendly, exactly what you would expect at a Disney theme park.
