Is beaches and cream that good?

We haven't been there since before they started taking ADRs but it was just eh. Our burgers didn't taste fresh at all. We decided it wasn't worth finding an off hour to eat there with the hopes of getting a table in a reasonable time so it gets a pass.

We stayed there and it was quite simple to get a spot at the counter. 30-90 minute wait was typical but you give your # and they text you so it made it very easy to eat there whenever we wanted

Just to make sure everybody is aware, the max group size there is four. If you want to make a dinner res for more than that you have to have two or more reservations.
Is this a new policy? We've had ADRs there for 5 before:confused3
And to answer the op's original question- no, we do not think B&C is that good. It's average to below average food and ice cream.

Maybe more than 4 is available over the phone but I've never been able to book more than 4 online.

I just want the full kitchen sink. Since they went to 180 day out ADR's, I have not had one. My family use to get it all the time, years ago. We have had the to go Mickey Pants but it just isn't the same. There will be 6 of us going from the 23rd to the 30th of July. I only booked in May. By that time all time slots are filled. I have tried consistently. We have gotten Ohana dinner, Chef Mickey Dinner, 1900 Park Fare dinner, Hollywood &Vine breakfast Disney Jr, Tusker House Breakfast, Cape May breakfast, BoG lunch, Trails End breakfast. We are not on the dining plan. Got all these booked since May. Also had Sci Fi lunch but canceled....just cannot get B&C
We are in the same boat, as we recently switched our stay (August) from the Poly to the Beach club. I am told that if its mainly the ice cream you want, they have a casual walk up window and can get it from there! That is our plan!

We stayed at the BC in August. I woke up that morning and made an ADR but it must have glitched me out without noticing so when we got downstairs they had no ADR for us. It was 11:30 am and they took us and sat us at the counter. The food was really good. I don't drink soda but I had a cherry coke. It was so good. I had the patty melt and I thought it was really good (I have a lot of them in my local Jersey diners). We did walk up ice cream another night.

I think if you try to walk up at an odd time you have a better chance to be seated. The entire time we were there they had open seats even though the app showed they were booked.

A lot of dates for beaches and cream just opened for lunch reservations

No, I was able to make a reservation for 6 (5 adult, 1 infant) for dinner in January.

It Ok a lot better places to eat and get ice cream.... not worth the craziness to try and grab a ressie now

Well, I checked again today and couldn't get anything for our August trip. Was looking for somewhere to grab an early lunch (not just ice cream) and we've done all the other eateries at BC/YC. I guess I'll keep on checking!

So can you do walk up for lunch and sit at the counter???

I have been stalking dates for our 8/24 to 8/30 trip because we'll be at YC. So far I've only been able to get a reservation for 10:10 at night after a dinner at CG. My DD really just wants to go to get a sunday because she read that they can make them vegan, I'm not sure whether anyone at the walk-up window is going to be able to get out the special non-dairy ice cream for her sunday or not.

It's very good. We really enjoyed it and the patty melt was one of the best I've ever had. With that said, it's one of those "you need to try it at least once" places. That + the idea that it's so small makes it very difficult to get a ressie.

Honestly, before Ample Hills opened I was positive that I'd be going there every night. Now I'm okay with dinner and dessert and getting more ice cream elsewhere.

I loved the salad and the Milky Way sundae- well- just get it! But, it was very crowded and I didn't like that. Too close to other people.

Don't believe there is counter seating so I think the answer is no. We like Crew's Cup for lunch (but sounds like you know about it) and will walk over to Epcot as well for lunch in England, France or Italy (the wine bar is a good option).

There is counter seating but I don't believe it's walkup.. the hosts still seat you there. We've sat at the counter many times.

They don't fully book with ADRs. Walkups are generally taken although there may be a long wait.

I have a ADR for 6 in November that I made online. Will we be on 2 tables?
