Title says it all. Is the bacon pre-cooked, or raw? Thank you for looking for me.
Also, what is the current cost of the refillable mug? Thanks again.

I saw some precooked bacon being sold at WL and GF in April, I am not sure if the raw type was available too.

Raw, $18.00.

$18 :scared: !!! Holy cow!! The precooked stuff doesn't HAVE to be refrigerated....I think for that price I would buy the pre-cooked stuff at home and pack it to bring with me....or else I'd get a grocery order delivered from a delivery service....

The $18 is for the refillable mug

Raw bacon may have changed to pre-cooked as DenLo posted. It's been a couple of years since we bought from the resort store.

Yeah....I'm thinking that pre-cooked bring it from home idea is a winner!! :rotfl:
Yeah, I bought some pre-cooked here at home to try it and see how it is. It was about $5 for 2.5 ounces, and not worth 50 cents.
I'll buy the real stuff going forward. Don't know how people eat that stuff.

We buy the already cooked bacon at home. It's not the store brand - it's a brand that has the thicker slices. It comes 14 slices per package.

I hate the smell of cooking bacon and hate cooking bacon, so for our mini croissants with egg, bacon and cheese it works well.

Have you tried baking it in the oven? Bacon still has a strong smell but it's a much cleaner and easier process than frying it which I have never liked either.

Much easier and crispier in the oven, I find. Just use a baking sheet and line the sheet with tin foil and back at 400-410 for 15-20 minutes. Clean up is even easier.

We use baking sheet mesh inserts that drains the grease away from the bacon.

Yup - and I didn't like cooking it that way either - too greasy. I'd have to use my mesh insert but then I'd have to clean that up too so I decided to stick with already cooked bacon most of the time. LOL

The store at the Poly had raw bacon - just to keep on topic. That was awhile ago though so they may not have it anymore.....
