Hi Missy,
Our next trip will be in Oct 2007. My dh and I were there Oct 5 2004 and we walked around Epcot for 2 days straight- eating our way around the world at the Food and Wine fest. Don't get me wrong, in Sept/early Oct it may still get pretty hot. Afternoons may reach the 90s. But I do find the mornings and evenings to be more tolerable that time of year. Even the afternoons are better. I guess it's less humid or something. It's just usually more comfortable. So please don't let the threat of possible hot afternoons stop you from going. Especially if you are getting the
free dining. I have seen afternoons in Dec almost reach 90-we're usually in short sleeves on Christmas day here

I'd ask myself: Are my family and I able to tolerate heat well? If not, would you mind spending time at the pools mid-day? What is the temp like that time of year in your part of the country? If it's cooler, you may be able to tolerate it here better than people who know they will still be dealing with 90 degree weather through Oct and possibly part of Nov. I think I'm so turned off by the parks in the summer because we seem to never have a break from the heat here. I live in Gainesville and we are a very "green" city, meaning we have tons and tons of trees surrounding us. It's beautiful, but when it's hot here you get no breeze, lots of bugs and humidity and no relief from it sometimes for 8 mths or more. Just want to make sure I haven't negatively influenced anyone's decision to go. It's hard enough making all these decisions when planning a WDW trip w/out some weather "whimp" like me making you second guess yourself

Take a look at
www.allearsnet.com if you haven't yet and I'm sure you'll find tips on how to deal w/ hot weather- just in case. Oh, and....HAVE FUN!!!!
