I don't believe the tag fairies are easily coerced. The only tags I have seen bequeathed as you have suggested were done by parents asking for your kids.

Your best bet is to make a nick that suggests is your current nick's "parent" then request a nick on their behalf.

I think the parent nick needs a lot of posts and tags of their own though, I'm not sure.

Basically, I think you have to have an in with the tag fairy.

I have a tip for you to help you possibly get a tag.

You have alot printed under your user name and this is why you may be getting looked over. The reason why I say this is because this happened to me. Under my user name I used to have something lengthy I wrote myself, and my tag (the one about spiders). Then one day I mentioned how I would love another tag (I didn't ask, I just mentioned) and the tag fairy responded to me by saying that there wasn't enough room for another one, and if I was willing to lose one of the 2 things then she/he would possibly bestow another tag to me. So I told the tag fairy to erase the one I wrote and then I got my tag about Tonga Toast

So, my suggestion is to shorten what you have written under your user name, and then maybe the Tag Fairy will bestow a tag on you someday

Dahhhhliiinnnnkk... asking for a tag is sooo last month!! Celebrities are the new tag. Don't lower yourself to common riff-raff, they're buying their tags at K-Mart now. Sooo tacky, sooo last season. Ugh.

Lots of people ask, beg and bribe for a tag. It does seem to be subjective as to who gets one. It is just going to be the luck of the fairies if you can get one by asking, begging or by bribe. The fairies seem to go on rolls handing out a lot somedays and none on others.

It is extremely subjective. All some people have to do around here is burp and THEY get one.

I got mine quite a while ago, and I've said far wittier things before and after that time (in my opinion ). It just depends on who's looking, when, and what mood the TF is in.

So, keep asking - it can't hurt!!
