Is April a "good weather" month? (Bahamas)

We are considering doing our first ever cruise
(4-Nights Bahama)

Our twin sons birthday is early April and we thought it would be nice to book it so we would be on-board for their birthday.

Is the weather usually good in April?

No guarantees but sure should be beautiful weather at that time of year.

Here in Orlando when it rains it usually doesn't last very long and the sun comes out again. I think it's the same for the Bahamas so don't let the weather worry you one bit!

I've cruised twice to the Bahamas in April and it's been really nice weather both times!

Just book early as many of the Dream cruises sold out for April really fast since easter was in April this year. It is in April next year also.

April is the perfect month to cruise - because that's when my birthday is! I've been on two Caribbean cruises and one Mexican Riviera cruise in April, and the ports have been pretty hot...as has Florida. The Bahamas should be quite warm as well.

We were on a 7 day last April 4-10th. At Castaway it was very warm, maybe 86ish, but the water was only about 77-78. It felt very cool going in, but you warmed up.
We celebrated two birthday on that cruise, DH 50th and DS 16th. Make sure you let them know when you book. They had a special cake (personal serving, but big) at dinner for both for them on their appropriate nights. Plus, they treated like gold at Palo when we let them know we were celebrating our anniversary a little early!!!
