Just wondering if any one has come across anything that is excluded on DDP. Main meal or app or Dessert...

Thanks.....

The DDP (the regular dining plan) does not include an appetizer. So none of those are eligible. I've not come across any entree or dessert items that was excluded, but there are a few that come with an "up charge" (I think the feast at the Marrakesh is an example). Also some of the desserts that say "for two" require you that there are two of you using the DDP.

There have been, in the past at least, a very few exclusions and limitations on the dining plan. But the list was always small and applied almost universally to 3rd party restaurants and DxDP appetizers. In general, it's a safe assumption that if it's on the appropriate section of the menu (as a single-serving item) then it can be had as a dining plan entitlement.

Most locations will allow two guests to pool entitlements for a "for two" item. Some will allow a single guest to get the "for two" item with a single entitlement. Some do not allow it at all. Reports vary, so it's often a location/date/server issue.

The Kitchen Sink sundae is not included at Beaches & Cream. There are sometimes reports that guests have been allowed to "combine" dessert credits to get one, but in most cases the reports are that it is completely excluded.

Marrakesh has a surcharge (reportedly $5-7 per person) on top of the DDP for guests ordering the multi-course Feast meals.

It's just been added to the DDP but we had one report that Rainforest Cafe does not include appetizers for children (children are supposed to get three courses per the brochures).

at raglan road you have a limited menu for dessert options (but the bread pudding is included so that's all that matters to me) and you can't get the appetizers for two.

Is this something new? Are there two dessert menus - one for DDP and one for non-DDP? When I had lunch there in October 2011, none of the items on the dessert menu we were given were excluded.

I believe Raglan Road is one of the places most cited as not allowing "for two" items with dining plan credits -- that may be where the "limited menu" comes into play.
