I love all the posts about the weddings (and am a bit jealous!), but I wonder if anyone is just taking their honeymoon at Disney and if this would be the board to get some disneymoon questions answered?

My first is, I booked our honeymoon at the POly August 18-23. I didn't know that there was a special Disney Honeymoons site to book through so I did it through the normal reservations. Is there some benefit to booking through Disney Honeymoons?

You are going to LOVE the Poly. We have plenty of people mooning on here so you are in good hands! I think that the mooner site is a way to do a registry. They have some great things on there. Check it out more. You could also inquire about you question via their phone number. The mooner site is pretty new, and so is the honeymoon registry.

Ask Away!!!

You can visit the disneyweddings site. They have a honeymoon section. Also check out wdwinfo for romance suggestions - you can find plenty to do for your honeymoon! I've seen several at home PJ's with Disney Honeymooning.

:clown: I've just saw the new smiles so I'm playing around!!!:hyper:

Hey there... I am just Disneymooning but it goes hand in hand with my wedding. I plan the honeymoon more than I do the wedding. The ladies here are super awesome. I have asked all kinds of questions like how to get from Pop to HDDR. Ask away someone is bound to answer!

My DH and I Disneymooned in December at the Contemporary for a week. We wished we could've gotten married at WDW but we got to Disneymoon there and it was so nice to get away from the cold snowy weather for a week. If you have any questions about Disneymooning just ask. Myself and everyone else on here would be happy to answer your question.

Another disneymooner here!!! We also went in December, stayed at WL for a week. I did tons of research before as well, this board is wonderful for information, feel free to ask away, there are wonderful ladies here to help!

We're Disneymooning as well. Don't worry about booking through reservations - I tried calling the Disneymoon # today, pushed "1" to speak with a honeymoon advisor, and was transferred to the regular reservations department. :rotfl:

I would love a disney wedding but I don't want to put my parents in the poor house...my mom said wait till next year, but I don't want to. :) so we will be doing our honeymoon at disney and staying at our home resort Boardwalk. Have fun plaining your stay. :)

I am a Disneymooner too! I am doing a PJ here as well though. I have been to Disney many times but it will be my husband's first time! So, feel free to ask any questions. My husband has looked through our photo albums and loved the food pictures so much, so we are going with Deluxe Dining plan to make it extra special for him. I've made lots of ADR's at places I don't take the kids. We can't wait!

We will be Disneymooning in May also. We are having a church wedding at our home church and then heading to Disney a couple days later. My DD12 will be accompanying us. We couldn't imagine a trip to Disney without her. Mine and her first trip was last summer and we didn't get in everything we wanted to do, so we planned to go again and lo and behold I meet someone, fall in love and well it turns into a Honeymoon trip as well. LOL

My DBF went as a small child but doesn't remember much. He was quite disappointed when I showed him our 1st trip buttons and explained to him he couldn't get one since it wasn't his first trip. And he actually gave me sad puppy dog eyes and said, But I don't remember it! :confused3

I think I'm planning the honeymoon more than the wedding as well. We would like to have a baby soon and I figured it may be a couple of years before we get away again. So I want to make the most of this trip!

I booked through Dis reservations and explained it was a honeymoon and then I received email about the Honeymoon registry. Which I registered for! I added on notes for room and ADR's it's honeymoon and I'm trying to plan a surprise diver and sign and menu at Coral Reef and a congratulations cake at 1900 Park Fare. We're doing DxDP and have a few signature restaurants booked and Luau dinner show. All 3 of us LOVE trying new restaurants and we are very limited in our choices in the small rural area where we live. I also just had knee surgery (slipped and fell) and sitting down twice a day for ts meals sounds good to me!

I get so excited I just keep going on and on.

My parents Disneymooned at the Contemporary 33 years ago! :) They love to go back and I know that's why my sister and I love Disney so much! :)
