I plan to come up to shop over Thanksgiving and was wondering which Disney store in the Denver area has the best selection. Thanks for any help you can give!

Though I live in Virginia now, I used to live south of Denver. I did a store search and there are only two in the Denver area now. They are:

Town Center at Aurora
14200 East Alameda Avenue
Aurora, CO 80012
(303)364-5359

Southwest Plaza
8501 West Bowles Avenue
Littleton, CO 80123
(303)979-4510

Though I do not know what their selection is you at least you the locations. I hope this helps. :)

I live north in Fort Collins now, but have shopped fairly recently at the Aurora store. Unless things have changed since I worked at a store at South West Plaza, that mall was a bit of a graveyard and usually had the smaller selections...that was a while ago, however, and times do change! I bet if you call the stores themselves, they may be able to give you an idea of which of the two may be bigger.

There is also a Disney Store at the Flat Iron Crossing Mall in Broomfield. It's pretty nice. And has a fairly good selection.

When we lived in Aurora, we liked the Aurora Mall. I had been told that it used to be the place to stay away from, but that they had made some changes to attract more families. We found that it was a nice place in 2006. And when DH visited again last year (2007) he shopped at the Disney Store and didn't mention any changes for the worse.

Thanks for the info! Did the store in Lone Tree close? I found it listed as a Disney Store on the internet...but it may be one that is gone!

I've mapquested info for the Aurora store...we're headed there tomorrow after touring Hammonds. My boys keep seeing it on Food Network, so I decided to make it a 2-fer day! They get to tour the candy factory, I get to shop Disney!

The Lone Tree store closed last year around Christmas. At that time, one of the CMs at the store told me that they are planning to reopen in a bigger store in a few months but they never did. :sad1:
If you are planning to go to Aurora mall, do it during the day. I heard that they sometimes have gang issues.

I was at the store at Southwest Plaza last week. They have TONS of stuff - getting ready for Christmas, I'm sure. Last week they had 25% off everything in the entire store. Not sure when that ends(ed), they open at 5:00am the day after Christmas. And yes, the store in Park Meadows is no more. I liked that store because it was bigger.

We live in Arvada and this is the closest Disney Store to us.
It's the only Disney Store I know of right now because
the one in Westminter Mall has closed.
Nice to know there are more Disers from Denver.
