Just wondering if anyone was considering or has already decided to go to Member Homecoming alone. Thanks.

When MH was announced, we already had plans to vacation at BCV June 5, 12th. I was very excited about MH, but DS's would still be in school and Dh wouldn't have enough time off to do 2 trips and take Christmas break off.

So I will be attending MH for 5 nights by myself. I thought of inviting someone else, but don't know anyone that would want to keep up with me for 3 days and I intend on fully participating!

I'm really looking forward to MH and by going solo, our week vacation at BCV will be much more relaxing since Im the obsessive Disney planner and always trying to squeeze in more activities. Dh and the boys prefer more pool time, DisneyQuest, and breaks.

Im a little apprehensive about travelling to WDW solo for the first time, but what better way to go solo and be a part of MH.

First trip Solo and to Members Homecoming to boot

Amazing!

Have a great time!

Plans are to go with DD18. However, she is applying for a job as a camp counseler. If she gets it (and takes it) she has mandatory training that week! (YIKES! And she's already paid for!!!) But, it may be early May before we know for sure.

I hope she's able to come -- not because I don't want to go solo, but because I've been looking forward to having some one-on-one time with her.

But, if she can't make it, it's nice to know there are others going solo as well!!

Not going solo - but I wanted to stop by and encourage you to stop by the DIS meet we are having on the 25th. A great way to meet others. We did this on the Member Cruise and it was a great seeing other DIS'ers the rest of the week (or in this case the next couple of days).

Here is a link Member Homecoming DIS Meet

Hope to get to meet you all there!

Yes, I am. I have a friend meeting me the weekend before Member Homecoming but will be back to solo by Monday of that week. I really didn't want to go to MH with someone who was not that excited about WDW.

As much as I love solo trips, I hope to meet some of you and not be alone for all of the MH activities.

Yes - I am even staying off-site to go to it!!!

don't give up on the dvc resorts - I did much too soon - they didn't have availability in January - but in March several people got in - just kept calling - or like me - save off-site.

but if you want to go - you better call MS and get your tickets - I think shortly they say they would stop selling them - even if they haven't sold out.

I changed now I am staying at the Pop Century with the discount from mousesavers
