Is anyone else up this early...

It is different this year in that the ressie is not paid when booking. I believe in year's past, you paid for the CP when booking it.

This is good since we are on the Disney Dining Experience and will get the discount.

Looks like most people got the reservation they wanted, must have been a lot of pixie dust going around.

I also got up at 7am to call this morning--it paid off, we got a 5:30pm reservation at Le Cellier for the 8:15pm show on November 29th--exactly what we wanted!! I was getting nervous the longer I sat on hold, but looks like I had a little pixie dust come my way! I am so glad that is all taken care of--now all the details of our 10 day trip in November are taken care of--now I just have to sit back and wait!!! I can't wait for November!:goodvibes

I got what I wanted, too, but I didn't call til 11am. LeCellier at 5:00 for 8:15 show. Only problem is that we're at 2 tables for 4, instead of 1 giant table for 8. But that's pretty much expected at LeCellier, from what I hear.

Still good, though!! And congrats on everyone getting what they wanted!!

We've got the same show (same day) but with Le Cellier at 5:10. I didn't get to call until 8:30 this morning and thought for sure I'd be out of luck for Le Cellier but there were a few time slots open for the 8:15 show. I took the earliest at 5:10 just to give us some time to wander and let our food digest before we sit for the show.

See you there!!

I called right at 7:00 and was on hold for 20 minutes before I finally had to hang up and go catch my train.

I called back when I got to my office and got the "extremely high call volume" message and was only on hold for maybe 10 minutes.

I'd originally had a regular ADR for Le Cellier on Nov. 29th at 4:50 pm. Never thought we'd get Le Cellier for the CP, but we were able to get 5:10. Perfect!!

Hey Kelleigh--

It looks like we are going to be at Le Cellier and the CP at the same time--5:30 ressie at LC on 11/29 for the 8:15 show!!! What a coinky-dink!! I can't wait!

Hey--didn't see your post because I was writing to you! Ha Ha!! See you there kiddo!! Glad you got your time--did your CM tell you the narrator would be Neil Patrick Harris? Just wondering.....

Yahoo...CP package for 11-29 6:45 show, LeCellier reservation 4 pm. I was a little nervous as I overslept this morning, but only waited on the phone 10 minutes and got our first choice!! Our TBA is now Neil Patrick Harris. Has anyone heard his narration before and what did you think? This will be our first CP; can't wait.
Disnemimi

Disnemimi-- I got LC this morning too, but we are doing a 5:30 ressie to make it to the 8:15 show. Enjoy your dinner and the show!!! By the way--love that you go by Mimi to your grandkids. We have called my Dad's mom "Mimi" our entire lives--her heritage stems back to England, and she always went by Mimi because of her heritage--still does high tea every day!! Have a great trip!

Nope. When I called, the CM said that the narrator was TBD. We don't really have a preference, since this will be our first time. Although, if you asked hubby, he'd probably be hoping for Gary Sinise since he's a big fan.

We don't care either who ends up being our narrator. We do LOVE Neil Patrick Harris on How I Met Your Mother, but I am sure that anyone would do a great job. This is our first CP, so we will just be happy to be there--and have a seat waiting for us.

Exactly!

...for us Neil Patrick Harris will always be Doogie! (I've only caught How I Met Your Mother a couple of times.)

Even though you pay once you are at the restaurant, I still don't think you will be able to use the DDE on your package. It's a set price with no discounts just as Fantasmic is.

I decided to have IPO book for me, I got a confirmation email this morning and got the restaurant I asked for, but the party size was wrong. They had listed 2 adults and 4 kids...we're 4 adults. I wrote back to correct it and they emailed me back with a new confirmation number and time. So now we're dining at 2:30 for the 5:00 show...how long do the meals usually take at the Teppanyaki restaurant? I don't want to have to rush through the meal, especially if we are seated later than our ADR time.

I too got Le Cellier at 5:40 on 12/7/2007 for the 8:15 Processional for party of 12-Wierd!! :cool1:

Well after almost 40 minutes on hold.... I got exactly what I wanted 12/7 5:40 at Le Cellier for the 8:15 show. I am now completely done with my ressies. It's time to RELAX.
Good luck everyone.

I asked the CM about the DDE and she said that no discounts were available for the CP package.

Was up and on the phone at 6am (CST) sharpe...waited on hold for @20 minutes...wanted Le Cellier Christmas Eve (latest CP performance) but was told it was't available and ended up taking Biergarten...disappointed but not going to let it ruin our trip!
:santa:

I didn't have time to call early this morning, but I did get what I wanted this afternoon! LeCellier at 5:30 for the 8:15 show. We are keeping our trip a secret, so I haven't been able to tell my DH- the kids are always around! So, I knew I could share here!

Yep - DH better be up and dialing!;) He does our ADRs. We have 2 Epcot days planned for our trip and are hoping to get the CP package for either night.

Well, I overslept the alarm and then turned it off in a sleepy stupor but DH woke up on his own at exactly 7am and was on the phone by 7:02. He was on hold for about 30min - we were pretty nervous, but he got just what we wanted: LeCellier 11/27 for 5:10pm with CP at 8:15. We already had GG ADR for 12/1 and considered making that our CP night, I would have really been happy with that if Neil Patrick Harris is indeed the narrator for that time frame which was listed as TBA. I just LOVE him on How I Met Your Mother! However, DH kept our original plan since the narrator for 11/27 is John O'Hurley who my SIL and MIL are famliar with from Seinfeld - I think I will be cracking up thinking of J. Peterman reading the Christmas Story (maybe he'll wear the urban sombrero)!
I hope everyone else got what they were wanting!:goodvibes

I got up at 6:58 and called right away. I got LeCellier for 5:30 for the 8:15 show. Very happy since I could not get Le Cellier for our Dec trip. Getting up paid off for us:cool1:
