Is Anyone Else Really Stressed About Scheduling their HS Day for later this year?

Neither of the star wars rides have Fastpass, Mickey and Minnie's is opening in March and no word on FP, Slinky Dog Dash is near impossible to get one for, and then you still have TOT and Rock N Roller Coaster that are 1st tier so you can't even get FP 2 of the big-big rides that offer it.
I feel like I'm going to spend literally my entire day there in extremely long lines because there are zero FP options for all of the popular rides.

I can't even plan to rope drop some of the big rides for short lines because of boarding passes for ROTR and possibly MM, so everyone else will also be rope dropping the same few big rides and it could end up with very little impact.
I've never been to HS and I'm crazy stressed. We don't even go till June!

Yes. our trip is in April. not sure we even want to ride Rise but all the people in the park waiting on their BGs sure complicates things. Everything we want to ride is Tier 1 and rope drop will do us no good.

I can't make FP+ for 5 weeks or so; at this point may need to start 3 mornings at DHS and hop to another park.
been to DHS but still feel stressed; Disney has created a giant "cluster..." and does not seem to be interested in doing anything to fix it.

I go in Mid-August and have no idea honestly what I’m going to be doing. Hoping to see a tier reshuffle before then.

Why so stressed? ROTR seems to be running through all the BG pretty well.
Get a Tier One for the ride you think has the longest wait (to save time) or for the on your must ride while visiting.
If you must ride more than one T1, rope drop the other one that you do not have a FP for.
Try to remember , HS is a fun park to just hang out in, take pics and see shows.

We are going in March. I made our FPs today:
9:00 Star Tours
10:00 Slinky
11:20 Little Mermaid
Planning to get there prior to rope drop, get a boarding group for ROTR and ride MFSR first. Then will just try and be strategic about TSMM, RNR and TOT. Planning to throw away the Little Mermaid FP and pick up whatever 4th FP we can.

Going in July and feel the same... gonna try to plan the best I can then just go with it... I know my must dos are Rise, Star Tours, Saucers, SDD, MMRR so as long as i get to do those 5 over the course of a day then I'm good

We went in December. Arrived early (5:30am) and got in a boarding group for Rise. Rode Smuggler’s Run with a 10 min wait, then Toy Story Mania with a 10 minute wait. I staggered my FP early in the morning. 10am was the earliest I could snag SDD, so we did two tier 2 FP before that (Muppets and Star Tours). Before our SDD came open, we also did RnRC (literally a walk on, they weren’t even holding folks in the preshow room). After our SDD, we were able to make more tier 1 FP and we did RnRC again with FP, but honestly after our ride on Rise we had done everything we wanted to do.

If anything HS is the least stressful since all the good rides are tier 1. Just pick one then either grab 2 shows or Star Tours and a show

Best advice is to plan 3-4 days at DHS and purchase park hoppers. Crazy to try and plan everything on a single day unless that is your only option. We have 3 different partial days planned for our 8-day trip the first week in March.

The most we could do is 2 days. We have 5 day parkhoppers. No early mornings or late nights for our dates.

It is our last day so I'm not worried, but more that its not even an option on whether or not I can pick a different Tier 1 FP if i want to ride it

We are not going until September but I'm still watching. I like being fully up to date on our plans although we are totally flexible. If I could get my husband to spring for an Epcot hotel I'd be less worried.

You just gave me hope! Just worried about getting a 9 and 12 year up early to get passes...

Yes!
An extremely efficient DHS plan for everyone that let’s you ride every ride

1. Prebook SDD before noon if you can and TSM before noon if you can’t (AS2 is 3rd best)
2. Prebook Star Tours in the morning and the earliest show you can
3. Be in the park by quarter to open
4. Get a boarding group And whatever MMRR has
5. Rope Drop Rock’n’Roller Coaster
6. Whenever your boarding group or MMRR group comes up, wait as long as possible then use it right before your 2 hours are up
7. Use all 3 of your prebooked Fast Passes
8. As soon as you scan in to your last FP, grab the next Tower of Terror FP. It should be immediately available
9. Enter Tower of Terror
10. While waiting in line at TOT, grab a FP for TSM (Or if you prebooked TSM, grab AS2). Should be FPs available like 1-2 hours away
11. Ride TOT
12. Eat lunch
13. Use your TSM (or AS2) FP and grab a FP for AS2 (or whatever you want to ride again), should be FPs available like 2-4 hours away.
14. Watch a show (Frozen is pretty funny)
15. Explore Galaxy’s Edge, then Get in line for Smugglers Run and ride
16. Eat dinner
17. Use your AS2 FastPass
18. Watch another show (Little Mermaid is a classic)
19. If you didn’t prebook SDD, 5 minutes to park close, get in line for Slinky Dog Dash

I can't plan if I'll need a boarding group or a FP+ or some other 3rd thing yet to be invented. There are rumors amuck of tier restructuring, etc etc etc
So it's hard to know what to plan on FP+ for when everything could change before our trip.

Yes, absolutely. We're going early April for 4 5 days, then USo. DHS is probably the one my boys (10,13) would live the best of the Disney parks. So we're skipping Epcot and giving DHS two days and 1.5 days for AK. Will do whatever I can with FP, MDE and planning then pray the Tiki Gods for possible crowds. Touring Plans predicting 5-7 crowds all week... sigh... and it's a once in a decade kinda trip (coming from Israel etc).

I totally get it. The chaos of Disney changing things and making things difficult is why I need a break from planning. It is incredibly frustrating to play by their rules when they are constantly changing them.
