It hasn't even been a really bad winter, just ready for it to end already.

We just got back from WDW a few weeks ago, had a great time. Got sick right after we returned home and now I am in a midwinter funk.

Bored with everything, nothing to look forward to until spring.

Anyone else?

I got fed up sometime back in November. I can't believe you've made it this long!

I'm just depressed because my WDW trip is over and I don't have a clue when I'll be back. Trying to hatch a plan for next winter, though, but don't know how I'll pull that one off. As far as the weather, I either want a nice snowstorm or I want spring. None of this gloomy, windy weather.

I actually feel the opposite! I was looking thru photos last night, and there were some from the summer when DDs were out in their bouncy thing in the backyard, and you could just sense how hot and icky it was. I really really do not look forward to that. I love this weather now! Mild winter is great.

Yep, yep, yep, cold and windy today. Already looking forward to Spring.

:rotfl: I think it was because we had this trip planed for Jan. Something to look forward too.

Part of my problem is the same as Tigger&Belle's, don't know when my next WDW trip is. So up in the air. (How sad it that? That knowing when your next WDW trip can improve your mental health?) ;)

Give me hot, sunny, flowers and grass growing any day over winter. If it is warm at least you have the am and evening to get things done. Just going from the car to the buildings around here is cold and a big chore. :guilty:

I'm so with ya! Bored out of my mind. Where is the sun anyway? Trying to keep my 2 year old entertained inside day after day is getting old.

Even with this mild winter we've been having, I am so over it.
I long for my hazy hot and humid days of summer. I can't wait!!

I told DH that when we retire we are becoming snowbirds and living in Florida form New Years trough Easter. Only 30 more years! LOL

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

I want more snow!

but on a saturday/sunday...not when I have to drive to work! :)

I LOVE snow storms! Great excuse to hang around the house in sweats and watch movies/read a book on the weekends!

Plus - my dog is the best "person" to have a snowball fight with...you can peg her all day long with snow balls...and she'll either eat them or beg for more!

I love each season for what it brings...the joy of living in New England!

I'm sure it's especially true with young children. We're having a mild winter, which kind of depresses me, too, since I want some snow in winter. But having to bundle little kids and carry them in an even colder climate is hard. At least my kids are finally old enough to get their own coats and gloves on and zip their own coats (on a good day ;) ).

At least you're DVC so you know you'll be going back. I would love to go back in either one year with all my kids or in October with my 3 boys (DD will have college classes) and go to the Halloween Party. And of course back to Everest! :teeth:

IT hasn't been that bad a winter here, either and I am way ready for it to be Spring already. I was actually fed up with the cold, rain and dreary even before winter officially arrived. The dead grass, dead trees, dead everything depresses me!!

Winter? What winter?

It's 70 degrees outside right now.

Now stop that. Hardly fair at all. Acutally when we were in WDW 2 weeks ago it was rather winter like for FLA (low near frezing.) However I can take that over this any day (at least it was sunny and you had the hope of it getting warmer, heck we went swimming 4 out of 8 days.) :sunny:

castleview, I am with you on that, but I think I could actually make it to Jan 1st. After that time for spring already. Actually Jan is almost over so we only have Feb (the longest month in my opinion) and most of March (really winter can stick until May in MI.)

JVL1018, We are so doing the snow birds thing when we retire. I think we might have less then 30 years to go if DH does it right. ;) Like 25! :rotfl:

Oh no................. I killed my own thread! :scared:

I am ready to actually see some winter weather! In December after Christmas I was wearing shorts. I want this place to freeze for at least a week so that we don't have huge bug issues this year. Send in the cold for me!

Well, seeing as how I just came in from a rather long walk in strong wind and freezing temps I'd say I'm DEFINITELY ready for spring. Why is it the dog can't find a place to poo when it's extremely cold outside? Does he know that all I want to do is come back inside? I mean really!!!

ME! ME! :yay: I want it to be spring already! :flower1: We have about 8" of snow on the ground right now.
