closet Game Show Network fan? Lately I've been finding my self watching this station. They have family fued and $100,000 Pyramid. They also show the old password and card sharks, etc. They are funny to watch because the episodes are old and some are in black and white. My husband can't stand game show network and thinks I'm crazy for watching it. Anyone else want to admit they watch it???????

I like to watch the really old ones to see how low the prices of the prizes were.

I saw a Let's Make a Deal (late 60's/early 70's) where the contestant won a motor home that cost only $6,000. Then there was one show from the early 80's where the microwave someone won cost $800 and the answering machine was $200.

I also enjoy seeing the hair and clothing styles from those old shows.

And I could swear I saw a show (Match Game I think) where one of the celebrities was actually smoking on the show!

I haven't seen any of the black and white ones yet.

Yes, Match Game, Charles Nelson Reilly smoked a pipe. I also saw Richard Dawson (pre family fued days) smoking cigarettes on that show!

Lets see, the old Wheel of Fortune where they "shop" for prizes is funny.

Monte Hall and Lets make a Deal, great as well.. some of those prizes are funny... like a new Datsun for $2,000!


And the sexist questions on Card Sharks... like What Percentage of men like thier secretaries 20 years old or younger?

Those questions make me laugh and at the same time.
