We'll be there 3/5-3/12 at the All Star Movies- can't wait! Hoping for good weather and bearable crowds!! I'm all ready except for packing... my DH won't let me start that yet LOL
Also, if you check the WDW site each park lists the rides down for renovation..We'll miss It's a Small World and Astro Orbiter in MK, and the Garden Grill restaurant in Epcot....
We have been there March 1-8 the last two years and it was great! This year the Unofficial Guide predicts crowd levels of 4 out of 10 for that week (see www.touringplans.com), which is exactly how I would describe it in 2003 and 2004. Also we had NO RAIN both years. You'll love a March trip!
We will be there March 4th - 12th. Our first ever trip. YYYYYYEEEEAAAAHHHH!!!!!!! I can't wait. I am so antsy I have a hard time concentrating at work. My DD asks every day "How many days till we go". Next time I am going to not tell her and let it be a surprise.
We will also be there March 4th - 12th coming from West Michigan so any weather is better then our weather. There will be 12 of us and after some problems with our plane tickets - originally ATA out of Midway now ATA out of Flint...things are getting looking up. We keep a white board decorated in disney cut outs with the count down so DD11 has the fun of keeping track. This will also be the first time I am not packed a month ahead, I am waiting for the 10 day weather forcast they I will feel better about packing.
As you can see I am also having a hard time concentrating at work...
March 5-12 here staying at Pop Century for my first on-site stay at WDW I'm so excited. About the crowds, I went last year the first week of March and the year before the third week in March and both times the crowds weren't bad at all, I didn't think. As long as you take advantage of the fastpass system you'll do fine. I have no idea about EMH or anything at this time because this is my first time staying in a disney resort, but I hope that they are awesome and not too crowded.
I am going 3 weeks from today March 9th to March 16th! We will be staying at Pop Century for the second time, this is trip #4 for us. We are taking Hubbys lil brother (14) for his first trip... I think he'll be happy about the cheerleaders!! LOL... cant wait to tell him about that this weekend! I to have a hard time concentrating at work... and annoy all of my co workers with my little song-
"Three weeks and 2 days... I just cant wait for Disney World!!"
They'll get over it!
I hear the weather will be in 80's and 90s... just right! YIPPEE! It cant come fast enough! Anyone else staying at POP?
Cassi
PS_ Typhoon opens when we are there! Cant wait to try Crush N Gusher!!
I already posted that we're going from March 5th-10th. What are the crowds like this time of year compared to end of June crowds? Does anyone know??? As long as they are less than summer I'll be happy. It was packed this past June. And don't even get me started about Christmas! All I want to know is if I'll see a definate change in crowd levels from the end of June to the beginning of March.
I can't to take my my two sons ages 8 and 2 1/2 .
But I dread having to wait in long lines.....
I hope it will be like early May and late October crowds that is fine.
Just not summer crowds..
My 2 1/2 year old son will be on his worst behavior I'm sure (LOL).
Less time to wait means more sanity for me and others in line that are in close range of hissy fits and kicking fits.
And since my Hubby was called up to go to Iraq in December I need some time to get my head a little cleared hopefully although the kids always listen to him the first time he says stop.I wish I had the magic touch !!
I hope everyone enjoys themselves !!
Have Fun !!!!
