NO some don't just look for a problem perhaps some of us are just cleaner than others! The comment "to just sell" is truly rude, inconsiderate and uncalled for. Slyhubby couldn't have posted a better response. We didn't ask for uncleanliness and as a matter of fact we did call upon seeing the bathroom was dirty and received no help. Yes it was easier for me to clean out the microwave and the patio of the ashtray and m&m's before my kid ate them. Not as big of a deal as the other issues. But I shouldn't have to clean a bathroom floor or sleep in a dirty bed.
When we were sold DVC there was nothing in the presentation or contract about not having clean rooms. We have stayed at the CR several times and we have NEVER had a dirty room or complained about a thing. So there goes your theory that some of us just look for problems. If we all have that ignorant attitude of hey "just sell if you don't like it" than all the properties will go down the tubes. Perhaps that is ok in your book for your investment but it certainly isn't ok in ours.

I would just like to add that we love the theme parks as much as anyone else but unclean, unkept resorts are UNACCEPTABLE to us and really should be to every other investor as well. Yes we will sell if this continues because we can still gain access to the parks and stay on property at a CLEAN, KEPT hotel that management cares about instead of dealing with this for the next 39 years. Just think if this is happening now at a 1 year old building what will happen in another 10 or 20 years! We do have the right to be concerned and inquire because we pay monthly maintenance $. As previously stated we have contacted management, housekeeping, the executive office and our DVC sales rep. So we are not just all talk or board complainers, we have tried to have these problems addressed and solved. However, many just have the attitude that this doesn't happen at the DVC resorts and it was a one time error or we are just complainers. Can't be a one time error if it is happening over and over again.
So if anyone wants to go ahead and make nasty comments/judgements when you weren't there and didn't see the mess, than go ahead. I just wonder if it will be ok when it happens to you and when you report it how you will feel when you are blown off or made to feel like a complainer. I bet THEN it will not be ok and an issue. If everyone tried to walk in another's shoes more often perhaps the world would be a better place......
