Is anyone else excited about 2006?

I honestly don't know how i survive going every other year, it is only 2005 and i have an entire year and 6 months and all i think about is disney- What an addiction!

Even though we are going in Sept & Dec 2005, DH & I are especially looking forward to our Aug 2006 trip, because the other trips are with lots of family (14 of my family members in Sept, then his parents in Dec), but 2006 will be just him & I for 12 nights!!!

I'm so glad there are other people excited about going to Disney in '06. I booked our rooms Friday and was so excited I couldn't hardly stand it. People at work thought I was crazy to be so excited about just booking rooms for a trip that is 8 months away.

I know how you feel! We just returned last week and our next trip wont be until September 2006! It seems so far away!!

We are going in Feb. 2006 and I can hardly stand it. I am just happy it is less than a year away.

My husband finally broke down and said we could go to WDW next year. I am so excited! I've been bugging him for years. We're planning on going Spring Break '06. He is getting excited too. He doesn't understand why I'm already trying to make definite plans. When I went in '98, we planned for almost 2 years.

Absolutely! My DH & I are going to participate in the Disney 1/2 marathon in Jan 2006 and plan on crossing the finish line holding hands!

A couple of hours later, we'll do the Family Fun 5K (probably walking) with our (then) 9 yo DS, and hope to do the same at the finish line!

It will be a memorable trip and each day I look forward to it!

We just returned 3 weeks ago and I want to go back.

I am hoping to go with my best friend, her kids and mine in April 2006. She is on her 2nd round of chemo right now and I'm praying that she will be still be with us at that time. She will, I know she will. This trip would be so much fun.

We planning our trip for Feb 2006 and my parents are coming along for a few days. My mom thinks I am CRAZY for planning so far in advance! She says she can't even "think about it" since its sooo far away. Obviously, I didn't get the obsessive vacation planning gene from her!

I am, I am! MIL made a few comments today about how we'll need summer clothes for the new baby for Feb in Fl. It was news to me, but I'm ready to start planning as soon as I find out the dates.

I'm so excited! We are going Dec. 2006 also. However, no one but me knows. It'll be a b-day surprise for DH. I already have it planned out how I'll tell him, I'll tell him early so he can be prepared at work, etc. He then can be in on the surprise for the kids. I already know how I'll surprise them. I'm on the look out for a cereal box(or some other food-type box) that will say Win a trip to Disney World. I'll then plant a certificate inside telling them we won and we have to leave the next day! How am I going to make it- I have 18 months left!

346 days til our trip in May 2006! I can't wait!!!! We were last there in May 2004.

We are so excited for our 2006 trip. We are not going this year because my youngest DS is 18 months and we would be driving from Canada.

He did great in the car when he was 12 months but now he can barely sit in his car seat for a 10 car ride. And he is going through a phase where he climbs on the dinner table while we are eating and grabs everyone's food. It's just easier to wait a little longer

Oh my goodness are we going through withdrawals here! Well, everyone except DH. He just went to a conference at WDW earlier this month. For the past two years we were in WDW at this very time so this is a really bah humbug week here! But we are beginning to plan for our trip in MAY 2006!!! It's a year away but it'll be here before we know it, at least we hope it will!

The good thing about 2006 is that if all works out as planned I'll get to go 3 times! Once with DH for conference, then our family vacation (DH, 2DD's and me) and finally with our teen church group! Hope I can endure 3 trips in just a few month!
