Is anyone else constantly checking emails and rushing to chek the mail for a PIN code

Sometimes I wish I had never even heard of the "code". It's not really that big a deal, it would save me about $370.00 vs the free dining bounce back or let me upgrade from CSR to WL for a $370.00 increase over my original amount. But I can't stop checking to see if I got the code. I've resisted pestering CRO about it, with my luck they'd cancel my free dining bounce back and then tell me I wasn't eligible for the PIN code.

So are any of you checking to see if you'll be one of the lucky ones?
 
I would love to be one of the lucky ones! What does the email address say exactly, if you recieve an email code from Disney? I am afraid maybe I could have overlooked it as spam.
 
You are definately not alone...I got up this morning and immediately ran to the computer, hoping for a miracle. I have had the DIS, Allears, Mousesavers and the Disney ticket site open all morning, and have checked the email (both of them) repeatedly. Oh well, I'm going, no matter what...but it would really be great to get a discount and be able to spend our budgeted money on some magical extras!

at least something happened today to cheer me up....UPS just dropped off my new Baggalini that I got on sale for $19 :banana:
 

Ok Disney if you're reading this I'll make a deal with you. If you give me a PIN Code I can use on my September trip and an additional trip I'll book 3 trips total this year instead of 2. :rotfl2:

Ummmmm, then I guess I shouldn't say that I checked an old email address and there was an email/code! It's for two weeks AFTER our trip!:rotfl:
 
No pins for me at the new email, old email or in the snailmail :sad1:

If we go it will probably be in August but prior to the 21st so they probably wouldn't work for me anyway - hoping for free dining.
 
I have been checking my email, snail mail, and the boards non stop. My AAA travel agent said she couldn't check for discounted rate without the pin code. The CM I talked to said their were no pin codes associated with my name for August so I couldn't use the code. I really have to resist the urge to call again, but everytime I hear about someone else calling and asking for a discount and getting it, I get bummed.

Could all these people have a pin code attached or are they just getting lucky. I want to be lucky, too!
 
Apparently I am in between weeks that the code is good for. Already booked airfare so can't change my dates. As it stands I have a room only AAA and hoping for a AP rate. The cm did mention more discounts to follow, she said to keep checking.;)
 
I do ... and so far, nothing. Thinking I perhaps deleted an email or my postcard was lost in the mail (wishful thinking, I know, but it could happen) I even called to see if there was a code attached to my name, my dh's or ds's (yeah, he's little, but I figured why not a pin code, lol, since they keep sending him dvc info ... unless they will take tooth fairy money, he's out of luck on that purchase, though he was intrigued by the prospect, lol). No luck.

Hopefully someday though. Good luck to everyone still waiting, and congrats to those who received one :)
 
i look for it often too.. and yet I have no clue what it would look like. We actually received on in 2004 out of no where. It was our first trip and a welcomed email. We dont remember anything about it though. LOL We almost deleted it!!!!!! hahaha

Me too, oh me too!!!! Well, two instead of three probably. Problem is that I am considering skipping this year if there is no discount for September. So two or zero, Disney.. you choose.

Gauntlet has been thrown. I bet the CEO himself is reading this!

What is interesting is I have gotten codes after every trip, about a week after we get back and feel very broke! I want a code I can use!
 
i have hardly slept since last week. I have made new registrations at Disney web sites on my kids email address under my husband's name saying we haven't been for a while. Dinners have been pitiful and the house is a mess. no one else has been able to get close to the computer. I called my son and his wife and made them check too. This is more addicting than Lost or Heroes.I have yet to get the postcard or email, the only time one ever came here was after my daughter had a baby and it came with all the junk mail you get in that first month or 2. The good news is that my AAA agent got the deal for me yesterday. After spending a long time on the phone the CM gave her a code that she was told had been sent to the AAA agents but she had never recieved and the deal was closed for me.
Still, look where I am yet again. Parked on the couch, in my pj's glued to the laptop and drinking coffee. If I smoked I'd be doing that too(that will give you cancer though, trust me had it and no fun at all)! It has just become a sickness with me. The fam will probably schedule and intervention soon.
