Is anyone else a PARK JUNKIE??????

I guess I feel totally opposite from all of you who say that spending time outside the parks feels like a waste of time to you. To me, if I only do the parks, I feel like I'm not taking advantage of everything Disney has to offer

Couldn't have said it better myself!!! Gotta love it ALL!!! :goodvibes

I am not alone. I feel like I need a good 2 or more weeks to get through more than just the parks. WHen I am there a week......I feel like the parks are all we have time for. This trip we have free tickets to Sea World..so I think we will do that . I am thinking maybe the day we transfer from SOG to CS. I would be fine not going to Sea World but those free tickets seem to make it eastier to go. LOL

I am a definite park junkie!! The rest of the family just goes where they are told! :sunny: We get Orlando the night before the "real" vacation starts & do DTD then. It gets a lot of my shopping & Christmas Ornament shopping out of the way (more park time). It also gets us into the disney feeling.
Next morning its up early to check in, get room keys & tickets. Then we hit the parks!!! We do not do any water parks, resort stuff, etc. Just stuff in the parks. That means a lot of character dinners. :earsgirl: :earsboy:
We do go back to the room now that we have DS. He needs the nap!! I schedule dinner early (4:30-5). We leave the parks around 12:30-1 and get back for dinner. I don't think we are really being tied down anywhere with the dinner ressies. That is when we would probably be getting back to the parks anyway.
I have planned to do a sleigh ride this year. A first for us!! And had to promise my DH that if we stay out late (after 10pm) we can skip the EMH in the morning & get there when a park is opening. :earsgirl: (I am also a bit of a commado about park time!!) I am SO GLAD to know I am not the only one!!!

we usually take one day to rest since we spent the other days in the park open to close so i guess i am a 90% park junkie. on our rest day we go to see resorts we haven't stayed at , dtd ect. we never leave property however and if i skipped a park( even my least fav. mgm) i would be upset when we left and probably have to be physically restrained. it always amazes me when people say they skipped this or that park on their last trip! course i don't go 10 times a yr either.

we still do other stuff like la nouba, dtd, plan on dq the next trip ect cause we go off season and go after the parks close so guess that is the best of both worlds :teeth:
