Is anyone doing the D23 Sip and Stroll?

I have a question for anyone who has purchased tickets for the D23 Sip and Stroll that is being held on 10/18. If you have an annual pass did they give any reduction in fee in lieu of the 2 day park passes?
We hope to attend the Magic and Merriment event in December and the two events offer the same 2 day park passes. If they give a break for annual passholders it would be great.

I would be interested in how AP's are handled (if at all) as well. Would love to do the Christmas one. It looks like a great deal for the money - I just hate the idea of having to pay for tickets that I already paid for - that is the park admission.

We have tried to write to D23 regarding this question and still have not received an answer. I think they need their own "Event Services" department so that people can call and ask questions or at least answer emails in a timely manner.

Well, I got my answer from D23. There is no discount or reimbursement for park tickets for the D23 events if you are an annual passholder.

I think D23 is being unreasonable about this as most of those attending these events are true Disneyfiles and most, if not all, have annual passes.

This thread should not have been moved to California Disneyland board. The D23 is being held at Epcot. Also, the Magic and Merriment is being held at Hollywood Studios and Epcot.

They did say, however, that the tickets were transferable but had to be used before Jan 30, 2010.

Now I'm trying to find somebody that is going down between 12/12 and 1/30.
I have even considered giving them to Give Kids The World or another charity.
