They are NOT just for kids. You can do just a "group" gift, or do individual things for kids as well (or for everyone), but often people with no kids at all participate. It is a fun for everyone thing

Yes, you will get a list of each cabin (17 in all). You can give them out on any day (other than the last one becuase people need to be able to pack ) It is just for fun--should not be stressful

Having spent last 2 months daily at beach across road from my home and living on a daily basis.

On formal night,what time do people show up in formal evening wear/gowns & Tux????
Before dinner?
After dinner?

I ask because I cannot imagine people going to the cinema or theatre in tux/full length gowns????????Trying to figure out when to be dressed!

I have already booked the hubby away on a massage & rainforest to relax before dinner, so that us girls will have full use of cabin to doll up hassle free,until his return to get dressed too!

Has anyone bought the 10 credit photo option? I have tp prepay for this...$89 for 10 6x8 photos or 2 credit per 8 x 10. Can I just buy one formal picture and make copies on my own?

Hi, people dress up ready to go to dinner, they come around the restaurants to take photos, you definitely want to be in your finest for dinner otherwise there is no point in dressing up at all. People certainly go to the theatre in their tuxes and gowns, just as you come out of the show there is usually a photo session with Mickey in his tux just outside the theatre. Probably won't see anyone in the cinema dressed up though, thats probably the peoplethat are trying to avoid the whole formal night set up.

I think that I am going to pre book the 10 credit package as it seems you can no longer book it onboard and also if you have to pre pay I think that means I won't have to pay VAT on it. I know I will want more than a couple of photos based on what we bought last time but don't want to spend as much as the 20 credit package. Our last cruise onboard spend was over $2000 for just the 3 of us and theres no way I want to do that much this time. I can't remember the price to buy individual photos but you can definitely buy single ones if thats what you want.

DCL has a copyright release form you can fill out online that gives you 30 days to make more copies of the picture when you return home. I think I am just interested in our formal night. What other pictures do they take that we would want more of?

We bought several of the formal night ones last time. Two were in Lumineres at dinner, one was in front of the Dis Magic background, then another with Mickey in all of his fancy clothes. We bought a couple from castaway cay, one in front of the ship and another of my daughter in the water, I know this doesn't apply here but I'm sure there will be some photo ops on the dockside at some ports. Then on pirate night we bought one took in animators and one of my daughter with Jack Sparrow (a very good likeness, better than any others that I've seen posted on these boards it could well have been Johnny). Other than that I think it was mainly small character photos which we used the 20 credit package up on. Lots of people buy the photo they take as you board but I ours wasn't that great I think I was just anxious to get on the boat and didn't feel dressed for proper photos.

Do it. We went out to dinner last week to the local Indian restaurant and my friend Lib showed up in a sari. She had bought it in India years ago and never had a chance to wear it. It made the night so fun.

I think it would be adorable!! My husband bought a sari for me when he was in India a couple of months ago. If I knew how it worked, I would bring it.
I say if you love the dress then go for it!
