Is an hour long enough to budget for 50s Prime Time?

Based on my couple experiences, you'll be fine.

If you get seated fairly quickly that should be enough time. When you are seated just tell the server you're in a hurry. Maybe look at the menu ahead of time.

I cancelled it. With the ADR penalty for the no show and then trying to plan my FPs and fit in specific show times as well it was stressing me out. I'll have to try to hit it another time!

That was a smart idea. 50s Prime Time is all about the experience and you wouldn't want to feel rushed or have to tell them you are in a hurry.

I agree I wouldn't cut it that close. I've had to wait occasionally 20-30 min. to be seated in which case, you might not make a FP that close.

You did the right thing! I don't like to schedule myself that tight and then be stressed out about it.
