Is an ADR really necessary for '9 Dragons'?

We ended up at Nine Dragons once because we didn’t have an ADR and it was one of the only places we could get in. We really enjoyed it. If you don’t have to eat at a specific time, you’ll probably be fine.

Based on the time shifting we were we were able to do during a recent trip, you should be able to get a table. I would suggest getting on the app and getting an ADR if you figure out (day of? day before?) what you would like. The place was fairly empty (so beautiful and pleasant) for our Wed lunch, but packed for our Fri dinner.

I plan to go to 9 Dragons this trip and have made a conscientious decision to not make an ADR until the day we are in Epcot. Like others I've noted that it's not quite as busy as other nearby restaurants.
