In my opinion, its not the criticism, its the delivery. He lately has a tendency to become a bit "passionate" during his speaking engagements, coming off a bit extreme.

Here's an article by Barbra Comstock in National Review Online, that describes a speaking engagement that illustrates my point.

Maybe he's spent too much time listening to the critics who said that he was boring and lifeless during speeches. Now he's apparently too passionate.

Why do I feel like I'm in the middle of a Three Bears fairy tale? Who knows, maybe his next speech will be "just right".

Lets keep in mind that Al Gore is standing up in front of the Saudi's who provided 19 of the hijackers on Sept. 11,2006. He was paid thousands of dollars to give that speech. He can't back up those comments and its the height of irresponsibility.

DH is being deployed to Iraq this week. Al Gore's rhetoric is NOT HELPFUL.

Personally, I would think telling people that Americans like your DH are decent people who don't support the worst abuses of our goverment would be a *good* thing.

Speaking the truth, trying to help the image of Americans abroad, yet called a trator and a loon because he doesn't support 100% of the policies of the current goverment. Guess I'm a loon too.

While I am digging out of my 18 inches of snow I am asking myself what happend to global warming??
