Is Al Gore a traitor or has he simply lost his mind?

Global warming creates extreme weather patterns, so yea, that record setting
blizzard could have been caused by global warming effects.\

Back to the regulary scheduled thread :thumbsup2
Yes. Which would also explain why we haven't really had a winter in Texas.

superbird, your post is so full of inaccuracies that I wouldn't know where to begin so I won't.

If you hate the Saudis so much, how about you petitioning the President to break diplomatic relations with them? The President calls Saudi Arabia our friend and ally. Don't tell me you are finally going to disagree with him?

I don't "hate the Saudi's so much". It isn't about hating the Saudi's. Its about a former vice president, giving an inflamatory speech in the middle east, talking about the "abuses of arabs" at the hands of our government. How is that helpful? The Saudi government didn't recruit the hijackers; the islamofascist did. Why seek to inflame that element? The Saudi's are making reforms gradually. The House of Saud clearly understands that funding madrasas has only been buying "temporary protection". The madrasas focus the anger of the arab street on the west instead of "at home" where the true oppression occurs.

Plus she used up all the smilies.

Dawn - Thanks for your Husbands service. And my answer is "yes" to both of your original questions.

Typical left winger first thing you do is make fun of someone. About the only thing you can do. Anyway Dawn God bless your husband and thank him for all he is doing for ALL of us even those name callers. You are right Al Gore is both a nut job and a traitor (don't forget a liar as he invented the internet that we are using :lmao: ) he should no better. When he was vice president to Hillary :rotfl2: they used the IRS to silence critics so there would be no descent or had them posed as suicides (where are those bullets again?) while we raid their offices before the body is even cold. I could take up pages talking about how he silenced his critics but it doesn't matter they don't want to listen the liberals. While I am digging out of my 18 inches of snow I am asking myself what happend to global :furious: warming?? That's right it is Bush's fault everyone on the East Coast got so much snow this weekend, anyway Dawn God bless you and your family keep up the great posts I read them and appreciate them :thumbsup2

What in the world are you talking about, Bird. Please elaborate because that is one wacky bunch of letters.

Dawn, I can understand your point, but what if it wasn't taken the way you feel his statements were? Is it possible that rather than flaming the fire, his statements might possibly put some (won't say all) of the fires out?

Helpful toward whom? I don't believe he is under any legal or moral obligation to be "helpful" to the Bush administration's policies. He is allowed to voice his opinion as is every American citizen. If you are insinuating he is somehow going to rile up the fanatics, I can assure you, it apparantly doesn't take much more than a drawing to do that. I can't see how speaking his mind (being inflamatory is clearly subjective) can be construed as a rallying cry for the Arab subversives to commit more violence. :confused3

We are engaged in the war against terrorism in which Iraq and Afghanistan are the battles. DH is being deployed to Iraq this week. Al Gore's rhetoric is NOT HELPFUL.

I have students and parents of students deployed. I know what you are feeling and will keep you and your DH on my prayer list! Remember, when he serves, you are also serving and I thank you both for your sacrifice.

gotta love that word...progressive. so everyone else that doesn't agree with you is stuck in the mud or just backward?

Now we know that everyone who is against the current administration's policies and says so on foreign soil, is crazy. Thanks for the enlightenment.

No kidding. :sad2:

Maybe he should bring Hanoi Jane and Jimmuh Carter with him next time.

To think this loser almost became president. Hey big Al how 'bout some details on all these supposed atrocities against the Arabs. Are you lying or merely exaggerating?

We all know about free speech, but he still should speak like a responsible adult, especially during times of war. (What, did Al miss his Bush Bash speaking chance at a certain recent funeral?)

That's one of the best things about President Bush. He provides everyone endless opportunities for bashing.

There's a proper time and place for such criticism (and even then it should be accurate, not just flame-throwing, exaggerated rhetoric).

Oh Man!
Poor Al is now suffering from Dixie Chick backlash. You have got to be kidding me. How are you people SO BLIND AS TO WHAT BUSH IS DOING WRONG and you worry about AL GORE? WAKE UP ALREADY!!!!!!

LoraJ, I agree. Al Gore makes a passionate speech about some things that are going on and rather than concern themselves with the possibility of abuses, the critics go on and on about Gore. Shoot the messenger much?

Oh good God, you can't make this stuff up.

You're back with a new name??

If you don't like Bush holding hands with a Saudi? How about FDR and Churchill with Stalin. Yes, with diplomacy you do have to actually meet with heads of state from other countries.
