Is airfare higher/lower in Nov than Oct?

We were planning on going to Disney at the end of October like last year, but a wedding has popped up and we might go the week before Thanksgiving instead (NOT Thanksgiving week). I know airfare can go up or down for no reason at any time, but in general is there a difference between Oct & Nov fares? Would the week before Thanksgiving week be more expensive for any reason?

I've tried to check but most carriers out of Boston don't have their rates up for November yet.

Thanks for any info.

I booked Jersey Week, (331 days in advance) which is Nov 5 thru 12 & paid $130.00 rt non stop

I am going back (Operation Wonder) Nov 19th thru Nov 26 (booked 331days in advance) $200.00 rt non stop (I am delighted with my price)

What a difference a week (holiday) makes

Hope this helps

I Booked Delta Exactly 330 Days In Advance. I Actually Had A Voucher, For It, So We Are Flying For Free.

Now, If Delta Will Stay In Business We Will Be Ok

Hope This Helps.

Sorry, everyone, for the cap's on each new word, I work, on the computer in all capitals, & sometime forget to put change back on the boards, therfore, when I type,it get's translated in every other word caps.

Don't come down hard on me for this mistake.

We booked Jersey week too and are having a hard time deciding when to book our plane tix. $130 is awesome!!! It seems the cheapest we can get nonstop now is around 230-250 per ticket. I would love to see it at $200 or below.

I booked Continental in October non stop from cleveland to orlando for $259.
At same time looked at November 3-7 - $359.

$130 round trip -
Does continental compete with these prices?

Obviously Cleveland is keeping Continental healthy.

Hi Ed,

I have learned to shop 330 days to try to get a good fare.

I am actually flying out of LGA. Continental doesn't have a direct flight from LGA. Continental does have a non stop out of EWR. The price non stop on my date was 160.00 plus tax for the same date. Needless to say, I choose the 130.00 which included tax out of LGA

Hope this helps

I was using round trip staying for a week 2/8 to 2/15 yesterday. I put in the same info today and got $349 rt.

I then put in 2/9 to 2/16 and got the $544 RT.

I put in 2/9 to 2/15 and got $349

I put in 2/9 1 way cle to mco
$227.00

One Way
Depart: Orlando, FL (MCO) Date: Fri., Feb. 16, 2007 Time: 6:00 p.m. Cabin: Economy
Arrive: Cleveland, OH (CLE)
