I've been reading about the AAA discounts that people use to book their disney rooms & I'm just wondering whether anyone from the UK who is an AA member has been able to use the same discounts??

Not sure what AA is in the UK but AAA here is an auto club. You have to be a member (about $50 annually) and they give great travel discounts.

Hi there, Thanks for the reply. Yep, AA over here is an auto club aswell - I was just wondering whether they were partner companies or something and whether we might be able to get discounts through them aswell?

Hi

On the back of your AA card there should be a little red and blue logo called ARC Europe - show this in the states and this gives you discounts. We have been to Orlando twice and have used our AA card for loads of discounts.

Hello, The AAA and the UK AA are affiliated and you do get discounts on disney and universal stays. If you email dreams unlimited with your AA number they will help you and obtain the discounts (If available) on disney resorts for you. You can also use your AA card for discounts on stays at any Universal resort hotel - just phone the main reservation number. We have used our AA card lots of times and saved plenty of money. The only place we have had a problem with it is around the theme parks in the restaurants where the CM's are not familiar with the UK card and are reluctant to give discounts. Hope this helps.

Thats great news! Thankyou  I've been looking at the aaa website and if we get discounts like those we could save lots of money!!

Thankyou everyone for your responses :grouphug:

I am not aware of any WDW restaurants allowing a AAA discount. (Or any place on property for that matter. Only for reservations.) :confused
USO allows AAA discounts. Can't say if Sea World does or not.

sorry .........should have been clearer.....we get AA (AAA) discounts on rooms at WDW and AA (AAA) discounts at Universal hotels and their restaurants in the theme parks and city walk when staff recognise our card as an AAA equivalant.

Not a problem.
I think Universal employees are called Team Members.
And I just did not want others thinking they should get AAA discounts from CMs in the WDW parks, or why they did not get one or told about them.
