Is a locker necessary at Volcano Bay?

I'll be going on my trip solo and first time to Volcano Bay. Since I'm staying at Cabana Bay, I figured I would just walk over and bring a towel and maybe a bag with sunscreen (no valuables other than my room key). Is it necessary to get a locker or would it be safe to leave the towel and bag on a chair while I do the slides? Thanks!

IMHO, no. We've been to VB twice while staying at Cabana Bay and have never rented a locker. I have a small waterproof pouch that goes around my neck for my room key and a credit card (yes, you can link your credit card to your Tapu Tapu through the Universal app, but I still like having a card with me). Our bags usually have a towel, cover up, sunscreen, book, snacks and a bottle of water and we just move them from chair to chair as we move through the park. I just don't take anything that I would be seriously upset about losing.

Nah but if you can think of a way to keep your key on you, I probably would. I always make one of the males in my family wear trunks with secure pockets and I put stuff in there.

Depends on how much you need to bring with you, but not really if you limit it to just a few things, if you are concerned you could bring something like a flexsafe or if its bigger, just rent the locker..

We didn't rent a locker. We just left our stuff in bag under seat. Phones and all. I would have rented a locker. Wife said no.

I always take my room card, AP, ID, and a credit card in a lanyard. It works great,was recommended to me on here - it is called Witz see it safe

Just a heads up if you are younger (or look younger), I was denied a drink at Volcano Bay because I did not have my ID on me. I'm 42 If you want an adult drink, be sure to have your ID.
