Is a jacket required at Narcoossee's?

Planning to add Narcoossee's to our next trip, and was wondering if a jacket is required. Also, I've heard it was good, though would anyone know how it compares to the California Grill? Any info. is appreciated.

DW and I were there last November. No jacket required. The food and service were quite good, but alas, we have not yet made it to the Califonia Grill, so I can't compare the two.

The dress code there is the WDW version of business casual--which allows for jeans and even dress shorts.

We've eaten at both Narcoosee's and California Grill recently. We thought the food generally was better -- more interesting and creative -- at CG. We ordered the cheese plate for dessert and thought it was wonderful.

The atmosphere is nicer at Narcoosee's, however -- less crowding and overall insanity. And, we always enjoy the steamed lobster at Narcoosee's (although it is seriously overpriced at $54 -- yes, $54!). A comparable lobster in New York City at a nice restaurant is $34.
