Is a full size car big enough

We will have two adults and two children. One will need a toddler car seat the other a booster seat. My husband is concerned there won't be enough trunk space for our luggage. We will have one standard size suitcase and 3 carry ons. TIA

You should have plenty of room for 1 standard and 3 carry-on pieces with a full size car unless it has an usually small trunk for the type.

You'll be fine. I used to drive a subcompact and could have easily fit that in my trunk.

and if somehow the trunk is not large enough (and I can't imagine it wouldn't be) you could always put 1 or even 2 of the carryons in the back seat, either between the kids or at their feet. I drive a camry and a full size suitcase & 3 carryons would fit no problem in my trunk.

You will have enough room for double that. Don't forget a bag will fit on the seat between them or on the floor by their feet. I think that is light packing! Are the carry on's free, can you just add a second checked bag, and take their things in one carry on? I guess being kids they want their own Disney wheelie bag.

I would put the car seats in a see through plastic bag, check as oversize and send them through.

If you get a Camry there's SO much room in that trunk. Camrys are amazing IMO.

Thank you all for the feedback. I thought it would be enough room but my husband was very concerned...probably because he drives a mini and has no trunk space.

I got a standard for 3 people, 3 full size suitcases and 3 carry ons. We got a Ford Fiesta and had tons of space. The lady at the counter told us to take a midsize if we didn't like any standards but we were fine with our Fiesta.
