Is a 9:50pm reservation gonna be a bad experience?

I was happy to finally get a reservation at O'HANA. My husband and I are late eaters anyways, and we are gonna watch the fireworks on the Poly beach, so the late time doesn't bother us eating wise. HOWEVER, I got to thinking...will the experience (service, food, atmosphere) be bad since it is near closing time?

I would love to hear from someone who has eaten this late at O'HANA...

We are late eaters, too. I normally start making dinner about 8:30, and we eat between 9 and 10.

However, we actually had to miss an ADR that we scheduled for 9:40 PM one night because we were so exhausted! We ended up eating at our resort, at the Grand Floridian Cafe, which was awesome, but I missed Flying Fish because of it.

We did have an ADR the following night at Yachtsman for 9:30 PM. We, again, were SO tired, and showed up at 9:10, and they were able to take us.

I definitely learned my lesson. Our ADRs for dinner this trip are earlier!

We've eaten that late at Ohana & it was great. Because we were one of the last to be seated, we ended up with a table with a great view of the MK. The restaurant was fairly empty by the time we finished eating, but we didn't notice any difference in the quality of the food or service.

I thought it was great too. Front table seating for the fireworks and the children's activities stopped at 9:30 so it was quieter.

I can't imagine Disney would let you down no matter what time it is.
