Is 7:30 too late ADR for Illuminations?

Is 7:30 ADR at Via Napoli too late to see Illuminations? (Trip is in mid-August). Not sure what time Illuminations starts and how long it will take 2 to eat at Napoli. Thanks for any input

Sound as if it might be a close call. Last booked Biergarten at 1800hr was out with enough time to grab a bier outside with about 30min before the show, but um I wasn't paying attention to my watch and we were not in a hurry to get outside.

It may be close, but a lot depends on your plan for the meal. We had a 7:45 ADR at Via Napoli and did miss the beginning of Illuminations. However, we ordered three courses and did not have plans to watch Illuminations that evening. If you plan to eat less food or let your waiter know you'd like to see the show, you may have a better chance.

Normally Illuminations is at 9:00.

If my memory serves me correct - if you plan or ordering pizza and are seated on time - you should be fine. I believe the pizza is cooked faster than other dishes. When we went my husbands pizza was served well before my pasta dish. The other key here will also be *if* you are seated on time.

If you want a really good spot to see Illuminations- or to be on the safe side - you may want to try for a little earlier ADR.

I agree 7:30 is pressing it if you want good viewing.

We had a 7:10 on Tuesday this week (got seated at 7) and barely got out in time. Food was great. Service was terrible. 50 minutes from the time we put in our dessert order until we walked out the door. It wasn't the wait staff. I saw three other tables sitting around way too long for their desserts and checks, just like we were. We sent half our party out to get spots. That goodness it was about 50 degrees and the crowds wer low.
