Is 500 too many?

I actually usually take more pics than I did this time, but I took them on the "fine" setting instead of "normal", and on the full-size pictures, you can tell the difference. Can't tell any difference once I've resized them to post, though. But of course, taking them at "fine" means I ended up taking fewer than usual.

Shep -- are those type 1 compact flash? I'm not sure any of the larger cards (except 256, I know 256 would work) would work on our camera?
