Is 41 old?

I noticed that myself. I know any day now I'll be gray. I've been very lucky so far but i'm waiting for that shoe to drop!

I'll have to learn how to use that soon. I have red hair and I am worried about matching it. I'll have to match it to my 1 year old's hair, she is also a redhead.

I was fortunate enough to find my first gray at 21.

My poor cousin started when she was 14.

I hate my family genes.

I'm 37 and I don't consider 41 old, but I'm a little worried when I get my degree and try to get a good job in the private sector. I will be 38 1/2. Is that old to be looking for a new job?

well, I have met people that are in their 30's that act like they are one step away from retirement and the grave.

..and I have met people in their 60's who are very hard to keep up with!

like the old saying "you are as young as you feel" has a ring of truth to it.

next time you are at WDW or DLR, look around. I bet you seen a lot of "mature" adults having fun and acting like kids. Ask them if 41 is old.

I will bet you will be very suprised at the answers.

Yes, it you act old. I know people in their mid-20s who were old. I also know people in their 70s who act young.

My grandma was a very wise woman. She said that "old is 10 years older than I am." SO when she passed away at age 78, "old" was 88.

Thank you for your replies! Not the answers I was expecting right off the bat -- I thought I'd hear things like, "Well, it's not young."

I find myself wondering if I should be rollerblading and doing things like that or do I look foolish at 41? I don't feel old, that is for sure but the frownies are starting to come out so I am considering botox. I have very young children so I figure I'm far from being a grandma.

It's a confusing age, but then again, so were the 30's. I was wondering if I was old then, too.

Well for my mom--at 41, she was too old for that--but that is b/c her body is disabled and is much older than what the calendar says.

IF you are healthy--go for it.

I watched the 2nd half of this season of survivor. There was one castaway named Laura. I thought she was a young college student. I don't know her real age--but when she stated in her goodbye statement that she was a grandmother, I could not believe it. Then when I saw her all done up on the reunion show, I still felt like she was pulling my leg.

Age is just a number.

There are 41 year old Olympians for goodness sakes!!! If your bones and muscles are strong, go for it.

Social security retirement age is 65...you aren't even close to "old" if we're talking in terms of calendar time.

If going grey equals being old then I have been old since I was 15 (totally grey by 24).

I don't think of 41 as old and a love scene between two 41 year olds would not gross me out at all
