I will have 3 adults including myself and 1 child . The reservations are for Dec. 9, 2004 AAA rate. I am a power pass holder, but that offers no discounts. Are there any other ways of getting a better deal?
Thank you for any tips.

I think $267 is a good rate for club level. But I have a AP and my rate is $237 plus tax a night for club level. ( for oct ). It might be worth buying or upgrading to a AP, just depending on how long you will be staying.

Are you only staying the one night ?? If you stay at least 3 you will get a better rate just from US website!

We will be staying only 3 nights. We might just book a regular room because its a lot cheaper.

Thank you,
Lori

Florida resident should be a lot cheaper. I have a garden view for 12/21-12/23 for $149/night.

May I ask who you booked through? That is an awesome deal.

Thank you,
Lori

Sounds good to me, and club room gets you free breakfast, snacks for dinner, and some beer for you.

The extra money is worth it.

Yes, I know you'll spoil your family and they'll never stay at a regular room again, but it's good to do once in a while.

Just tell them it's a splurge and go for it.

Not sure you can get a better rate, they've been going up and up. I say keep it and enjoy your trip.

I checked your rates just through the U.Studios web site and came up with club level for $247......

Marcae, for the record, you are staying at HRH during a "value season." Here are the various "seasons" at the Universal resorts (from lowest to highest price):

Value: Early Jan - Mid Feb, Mid Aug through end of Sept, late Nov through period right before Christmas.
Regular: mid Apr - mid June, Oct through Thanksgiving
Peak: Mid Feb through March, Mid June through mid August
Holiday: Christmas through New Years

As for whether $267 for HRH club during value season is "good,"
I got a better rate than that for the same type of room (HRH club level) using the AAA discount during a different period of value season (late August 2005). That's probaby because Universal tweaks rates depending upon current reservation levels, and right now HRH is in all likelihood more booked for mid Dec 2004 than late August 2005.

We just got back from HRH club level, we had 2 adults and 3 kids at a $237 + tax rate. It was definately worth it for us!!

Is that for club? That's a really great price if it is.

I've got $271.00 for club at PBH in Dec. off the web site. I rather pay a few $$ more for the larger room.
