The last time that hubby and I have been to Universal is 12 yrs ago or so. We had no kids at the time and there was only one park. This time we will be staying onsite with our two kids Girl 8 and Boy 11. Will two days be enough if we take advantage of the early entrance to Harry Potter and front of the line.

Thanks for any info.

Two days is a really good start. Three is the best.

If you're onsite, I think two days is enough, but I don't want to talk you out of a third. I'll be at RPR Labor Day weekend, and I'll be there three days. Having that third day cuts down on the stress the first two. ;)

Two days will be plenty if you are going during a slow or moderate time. Three would be such a stress reducer if its one of the busiest times.

Here's my simple formula:

Total number of parks+1

For instance: if you go to US/IOA- 2 Parks+1= 3 Days

US/IOA+WetNWild+1= 4 days.

WDW is 4 Parks+1= 5 Days
WDW+2 Water Parks+1= 7 Days.

I will be at US/IOA after Memorial Day in May and I am looking at 3 days. 2 days to scour the parks and one day to go back to the rides I want to ride again and/or missed.

We were there for spring break and saw it all in 2 days, easily. Even had a few multiple rides. We did have a 3 day ticket so the third day was used to go back and do favorites again at a more relaxed pace. Nice to have the 3rd day, but not necessary. Though if you're staying onsite, you may want to have time to spend at the pool. The pool at the HRH (not sure where you're staying) was the highlight of the trip for me.

I agree with all -- two days is enough, but I always go for three... the extra day is great for revisiting favorites. And riding Rip Ride Rockit a couple more times!
