Is $145 the lowest that VGF will go?

You can take this with a grain of salt, but my rep predicted the points would be hitting $200 by the end of the year.

That wouldn't surprise me if it did or was close . I just ate at Ohana and thought it was the best meal I ate all week . It was my first time there . I now know why everyone seemes to love the Polly . I would think I'd like to add points there when if it opens , if I don't add on sooner

Well I read a post that said the 7month period for reserving with other DVC points was being lowered to 4 months for vgf
Anyone else hear that. It would kill any decision to buy small contracts and try to use other non VGF points regardless of price. Personally I would wait till resale and buy a lot lower.

That's only short term, to give new owners a chance at home resort booking. It will be 7 mos for non owners, just like the other properties. I believe that will be in effect for stays after 1/1/14.

Jam113 is correct. The 4 month thing is only because of when the resort is opening, Oct 23rd, I believe. They are giving GFV owners a good head start, as they should, & then things will go to a 11/7 month booking window as always.

I haven't been following this. Have they announced how many units there will be, and if so, how does it compare to other resorts?

The price seems awfully high. I am a very satisfied DVC member, but 100/point was as far as I would go. Anything higher just doesn't seem worth it to me.

It's the smallest resort. 47 dedicated 2 bedrooms, 47 lock off 2 bedrooms and 6 GVs. Price is said to be going up to $150-160 when new member booking opens in June.
