Is 10 aft (Fantasy) really that bad?

Just booked a cruise for next year and booked a 5E on deck 10. Fell in love with the pics of the large verandah with loungers. And absolutely love the idea of running up to Cabanas to bring breakfast or lunch down to enjoy on the verandah! This will be our 7th cruise so I anticipate spending more time relaxing on the verandah than going to shows and activities which we have done multiple times before. Also, there's 3 of us so we find the regular verandah a tight fit and they only have 2 chairs.

But I'm worried about reports of noise from Cabanas above and the fact that ALL the deck 10 5E's were available but the other 5E's all booked. There was one on deck 7 (much smaller balcony) and one on deck 6 (flag room) available. Is deck 10 really that bad? The verandah's look amazing!

We've stayed aft on the Fantasy before so we are familiar with the vibrations and movement (just not THAT far aft LOL).

I've read the reviews of these rooms but they seem so mixed and they are also several years old. Anyone stayed recently??

Aft is my favourite location. I was forward once and I could feel more movement up front which made me queasy. We had room 10158 on the Dream. Haven't been on the fantasy yet. And we loved that room and the huge wrap around veranda. And being close to cabanas is so convenient. And the aft elevators are rarely busy. We read reviews about scraping chairs but never heard a thing.

We love deck 10 5E stayed in them several times. We never heard much noise if any from Cabanas. We are early risers and always travel with a white noise machine for sleeping

I'll try to remember to post on this when we get back from our July 8 cruise. We are in 10660 and friends are in 10662.

Someone posted on another thread that they were in 8188 which is back aft..the back of the ship. They said that they didn't feel anything out of the ordinary and have booked the room again. So I am hopeful!

I just saw a tweet from Touring Plans on Twitter that said during an engineering Q&A on the ship today, it was reported that all of the Fantasy's thrusters were replaced during dry dock. I have no idea if thrusters are what caused the vibration people always complained about, but maybe replacing them has helped?

We were in cabin 10662 and although we LOVED the large veranda, I'm not sure we would book again.
We too read the reviews about the chairs in Cabanas and thought well we get up early so it shouldn't bother us
WRONG, it started at about 5 o'clock in the morning and woke us up every morning.
