Irritated with Six Flags

I agree that it's ridiculous! They do that for Cubs tickets too! They charge me to print it at home, but I don't think they charge me anything to have them shipped! Just a little odd...

What about Six Flags in Atlanta? Anyone know how much it is to park? What about bringing in drinks? Is the BOGO Free offer on any of the GA coke cans?

thanks!

Now we go to Lake Compounce in CT...a nice amusement park where parking is free and they give you free drinks all day.

Parking is free? I went about two years ago and they charged for parking. I hate Six Flags. We had season passes for New England for a few years but I am so tired of the baloney they give me that I didn't renew. My son's picture was so outdated but they would give him a new picture. This year I am skipping all the amusement parks and just going to Orlando where at least I feel they enjoy having me visit.

Oh my gosh they took my dd's bag of cheetos at the gate. I was livid she was not even 2 and cried for at least 30 minutes. I told the guy that took them we were going to stand there until she stopped crying and he could listen to her with me!1:rotfl2:
Needless to say DH made me move along!!
i could not believe that they were so anal about the food and water thing! That is just crazy. We had 5 kids with us and 1 stinking bag of cheetos, like we were really going to make a meal out of that!!

Last time I there it was 10.00 dollars. It has gone up since then. I am say around 15.00 dollars to park. I do know that I took a refill water bottle in. But that was a few years ago. There should be but I am not sure. I think seen something get 15.00 dollars off regular price tickets. I get a AAA discount so I use that in instead of the cans.AT AAA south has tickets for 30.00 dollars. I check last night because I am thanking about going July 4th holiday. I don't eat in the parks unless this place which next to the mine train ride. I eat a big breakfast and will not eat again for until late on that night. I would go Dave and Busters, Cheesecake Factory or ESPN which ever the group choices.

Be sure drink a lot of water in the GA heat.

I only life 2 hours away from six Flags over GA so ask away.

I have to take DD#1 to New England this year, too, because of the reading program pass. I hate it. It's just so NOT Disney. She was busy with summer camp last year and we never got around to going before the passes expired. I'm hoping that this year my best friend and I can take her kids and my DD together....at least then we'll have each other to share the misery.

Boy, they really get you with that reading program, huh? Because then you have to buy a ticket for yourself and parking.. and then food, drinks, etc. They make out pretty well ;)

Anyone know how much the AAA tickets are for the New England one? My son is so excited about the new Thomas area.

I just got mine today, the AAA ticket was $27 and the parking pass was $12. My receipt says I saved $25 going with AAA.

Allyson, thanks for the info!
Would you happen to know what a child's ticket through AAA might cost? (or am I pushing my luck? ;) )
