Irregular Heartbeat What do you guys know about it?

I wasn't feeling well at school the other day so I went to the school nurse to take my blood pressure. My blood pressure was okay but she found I had an irregular heartbeat. My son and husband took me to a hospital known for it's cardiac care. Aftersitting for 7 hours I was finally seen and they don't see anything too wrong. Since yesterday I have been on a heart monitor and I don't think I have had any problems but I have had some indigestion because I am so worried. I turn it in today and then make an appointment with the doctor. I don't even know when they will let me back to school.

Some things to know about me. I am 50 years old and have lost 20 lbs in the last year. I still have weight to lose but it was start. I have been battling high blood pressure for a couple of years but have it under control with medication. I have been working out 4 to 6 times a week since last Feb. WHen I went to my doctor in Aug she told me that my bllod work numbers show that I am through menopause.

Any one else been through this?

hi i'm 41 been on bp meds for 3 years--
i also have irregular heartbeats-

i've have the 24hr holter test, nuclear stress tests etc-- and go yearly to my cardialogist-- and i'm fine---
my heart just like to throw in extra heartbeats sometimes.

I used to have them ALL the time - now it's just when I'm over tired or stressed(this week I should have about 10 million) I've had every possible test done. Mine were PVC's and some PAC's at one time over 14,000 PVC's in 24 hours and 5,000+ PAC's. Benign. Mine were hormonally related and stress related. never realized they were hormonally related---
i always get mine a few days before my period---
i'll have to discuss it with my doc next visit
