irony...."H&R Block Flubs Its Own Taxes"

As I'm pulling my hair out trying to do our tax return, I stumbled on this story on foxnews.com......

Im laughing but I shouldn't... After waiting a couple weeks for my direct deposit of taxes to go into my account and not seeing them I finally called and was told there was an error and my return would be delayed. Ok, I thought not a big deal. Waited another week looked up on the IRS site and it read "Your taxes are due to be mailed..." What?!?! It is direct deposit! So I pull my copy and right there in the routing number section the last little digit is a 1 and it should be a 0.... So mistakes are made, even by those who should know better...Im an accountant.

A guy who works here was so proud when he got a huge refund using H & R Block. He said, "and he deducted my medical insurance premiums, too." That's great, except we have a seciton 125 plan, so health insurance premiums are taken pre-tax, and weren't included in his Box 1 income in the first place. And I doubt the added up to 7.5% of his income, to boot. Numb numb numb.
