Ironing question

So, it's a pet peeve of mine to walk around with wrinkles. I am iron-obsessed! I know there is not an iron in our staterooms. I think I read somewhere that we can drop off clothes to be ironed? Is this correct? If so, can anyone advise how much it is if they have done it?
Debating if I should just buy a travel steamer or get the ironing done on the ship...
Thanks in advance!

We brought a steamer and it was confiscated. We just made do with wrinkle release spray.

You can send clothes out to be laundered or just ironed (ironing is half the cost of cleaning price). There are also irons in the laundry rooms, however bear in mind the iron in the laundry room near us on our last cruise left horrible black marks on everything.

I am iron-obsessed also and made my DH that way, too! My first cruise I went to the laundry room every night and ironed using the provided iron. Second cruise I used Downey Wrinkle Releaser for casual clothes and still went to laundry room to wait in a line to iron more dressy clothes. Third cruise.....I sent the clothes out to be ironed. I still used DWR for casual/beach clothes. I do not remember the cost but that is because it was so reasonable and totally worth it. Next cruise to Alaska DCL will be doing all of my ironing!

Have to admit having things ironed by Disney was not only easier but I really liked what they did and the way it made my clothes look (so much better even than if I had done it myself.)

I swear by sending out my husband shirts and slacks on the day we board, its returned the day before dinner.
The cost is less than $30.
So nice the rest of the week he just pulls out what he wants and its all perfectly pressed for him.

I love the Downy wrinkle release also, great product for traveling.

Great advice! Interesting about the steamer. Guess I'll be keeping that at home. I also never used Downy wrinkle release. but I was going to be getting that. Good to know it works. Thank you.
So I can just drop everything that I want ironed on the first day that we board? That's awesome. I think I will also treat myself to having DCL iron for me. After all, it's vacation. ;)

As noted, there are irons in the laundry rooms onboard to use. You can't bring irons or steamers onboard. Or you can send your stuff out for pressing. Here's the cost (pressing is 50% of dry cleaning cost):
